We have had this subject a few times before. I am still at a loss to understand the use of various "odd" stains for eosinophils.
They are so named because they like eosin. The easy way to stain them for contrast (contrast being the idea of staining) is to do a H&E with very light E. All the usual "E things" will be very lightly stained but with the eosinophils as avidly stained as with a normal length of staining.

I am looking for Staining protocol (which works) for Eosinophils. I have tried several Congo Red methods but no luck.
