Interesting discussion on pricing and Stark law

From:Gayle Callis

Vinnie and Tim have enlightened me on this issue and the Stark law.

We have always sat down and figured our costs, it is tedious, but also
revealing as to what it really costs to produce a slide, whether H&E,
special stain or immunostaining. Where this was most important was figuring
the costs for a single outside project or research grant -

It required some creative thinking on how to do this, particularly when you
try to figure what it costs for a drop of mounting media per slide! Been
there, done that, and in Montana - could be much different than another
part of the country.

Vinnie made some valid points that must be taken into consideration. I
guess is comes down to get out you spread sheet and calculators! Thanks,
fellows!
