We are using an automated coverslipper and have noticed a real problem
lately.  The slides look great for about a month and then develop a number
of air pockets beneath the coverslip.  We are using xylene in our automated
coverslipper and obviously when the trapped pockets of xylene eventually
evaporate we are getting the air pockets.  My question is we are using
Permaslip or Richard Allan Mounting Media and I am wondering if they are
just not mixing with the xylene as well as they should.  Does anybody have
any ideas or suggestions to different mounting media?
