Re: TTF-1

From:Rena Fail

Shanon,
Our results were  inconsistent at first. We tried cutting only a small supply of slides and storing them in the refrigerator. Saw an immediate difference. but still noticed a gradual decrease in staining over a couple of weeks. Made the ab fresh used the slides stored in the fridge the intensity was back. So now we store these controls in the fridge,(older slides stored at room temp stained lighter) and make up only 1ml of TTF-1 at a time.  By doing both our results are consistenly good!
I know that several people on the histonet have suggested freezer storage, but our freezer is nearly full so this waas not an option.

SEEM TO PEG DOWN A DECENT CONTROL EITHER.
