Re: Adenovirus IHC or ISH

Re: Adenovirus IHC or ISH Dear Ms. Drew,
We have an antibody to adenovirus here for testing on paraffin-embedded material.  We purchase it from Chemicon (clones:  20/11 and 2/6, cat# MAB805).
We have done in-house validation studies as required by the FDA, and the antibody performs as expected.   It does not react with RSV, CMV and VZV infected tissues, and it DOES react with known-positive Adenovirus-infected tissues.  Per the manufacturer, this antibody reacts with all 41 serotypes of Adenovirus.

If we can be of any assistance, please give us a call or check out our website (http://www.phenopath.com)

Sincerely,

Phyllis Davie
