I must say I agree that FFPE is one abbreviation that 99.9% of all
histonetters should know well.

Formalin fixed parafffin embedded tissue - most histotechs should 
be aware of this abbreviation as it : 
a) was discussed a while ago on histonet.
b) saves time when typing.
