the theory is that freezing the slides inhibits oxidation, the same premise 
as meat(yes meat). I have studied this quite extensively and have found this 
to be so about a great many antibodies. Elias published sort of on this in ER 
and Pr and I have found it to be quite true in Ki-67, EGFR, and others. try 
it for yourself, one stored at room temp one at -20, another at 4 degrees and 
try storing for 1 week , 2 weeks etc, you will see the antigenicity slope 
down or get weak, this is how I have tested.              Good Luck
