It sounds like your pathologist is cutting the tissue too thick. (Even when
tissue is fixed for DAYS) If it is cut too thick it will not process
(dehydrate, clear or infiltrate) overnight. Some pathologists call this a
fixation problem when in fact it is a grossing problem.
