Hello Histolanders,

I ran the Churukian method of the Oil Red O stain.  It looks great and I 
had no problems.  I am curious to know though, exactly what is the purpose 
of the dextrin?  I could not find this information in my Theory and 
Practice of Histological Techniques, 5th Edition.  I must confess that I 
have not resorted to any other references as of yet.
