Our lab pathologist has asked me to investigate the
use of tissue dyes at the surgery stage in the O.R.
They would be used by the surgeon to label the fresh
tissue so that specimens can be orientated at the
dissection stage in the lab.Does anyone know of this
technique being performed, what dyes are used and
their source.I would think that 4 different coloured
dyes would be needed.Over to you.
