I like your suggestions (in terms of HercepTest in particular the part about
turning around phyisics laws by government decree). Russ, I've heard about
similar suggestions and will send you a corresponding attachment.
Mike, of course one could use pressure cookers (and that's what we do when
we use non-HercepTest antibodies against her-2/neu), but we didn't want to
deviate too much from the original protocol, as the manufacturer insisted on
Austrian government policies that water has to boil at 100 C, no matter the
altitude! So we tried to have the temperature and the time they suggested
and just chose a different heat source.
