Eriochrome black T (C.I. 14645, Mordant black 11) is in the
Sigma and Aldrich catalogues.
The use of this dye to suppress autofluorescence is briefly
mentioned in Pearse's Histochemistry, Vol 2, with a reference
to K.A.Karlsson et al 1975 Acta path microbiol scand 838:482.
