I cannot answer the question you posed on the histonet, but I would like to
suggest that for LCM with frozen sections the Instrumedics' Tape-Transfer
system (CryoJane) is extremely useful. The frozen sections processed with
this technology are thin, flat, unwrinkled and intact. Laser capture is
easily accomplished!

Growing numbers of LCM'ers are now using the Tape-Transfer method! It is
very helpful, especially for lung tissue! Gayle Callis has written
extensively on the subject of the CryoJane and lung.
