Greetings:
Does anyone know of a supplier of Teflon coated pestles, either disposable
or not, that fit 15 and/or 50 ml conical centrifuge tubes. I need to grind
up whole oysters in sterile media with no loss of sample due to transfer
from one vessel to another. The medium:tissue ratio is 24:1, which is why I
need to use large tubes, and don't want to generate volume due to washings.
Or, does anyone have a better grinding method?
Thanks for your suggestions!
Regards -
Carol
