Thank you very much to everyone who responded to my query. I really do
apprieciate it.
A sumary of the answers I received is -
80% of respondents thought that 40 blocks in 4 hours
embedding
cutting
drying
staining on an automatic stainer.
manual coverslipping and labeling - is an accepatable workload.
20% thought it was excessive.
Some (I haven't analysed this part of the repiies)of the 80% who thought it
is acceptable expect a far greater work load to be completed in that time.
Once again thank you. I must now convince my superiors, who have been
persuaded that 15 - 20 blocks is acceptable.
