Has anyone had success with Zinc sulphate substituted fixatives for
trichromes and got results at least equivalent to that of Formal Sublimate
or Zenkers? If so how about a recipe and some guidelines.
As for another possible alternative, could anyone comment on post fixing
with other than Bouin's or Picric acid, eg 1 part 10% HCl alcohol with 3
parts 3% Potassium Dichromate freshly prepared- use for how long, results?
Thank you in anticipation, Mike (Downunder)
