I am trying to set up a Reichert Histostat, model 820H in our lab. Does anyone have information about this microtome? It is essentially the AO microtome that has been around for years on end.
I am specifically looking for a picture identifying all of the parts inside. I know what everything is except the lever inside that seems to allow the less than 35 micron rachet to engage. I am not sure what this is or how is got dis-engaged.
Also, I would like to have a disposable knive holder for this microtome. Does anyone know who sells them?
Thanks,
John D. Shane
