Anita,
Just a couple comments on your search for a vibratome.  We purchased one 
last year from IMEB in IL (i think the number is 708-780-9650.  We 
actually did an exchange for some ole equipment that we no longer used.  
One thing that i would suggest that you get is a sample tray.  This is a 
metal tray that sits in the vise - it allows you to only use a small 
amount of buffer, and is much easier to clean than the entire solution 
trough.  I would also look into a  model that has a cooled 
buffer trough if you will need it.
