Jill,
Mouse and monkeys Mac's are my thing mostly, and I have found a couple good one's. For monkey, rabbit, and human the HAM56 code # M0632 from DAKO works great on spleen and skin, nice staining of langerhan cells as well. These are formalin fixed paraffin embedded samples and trypsin or proteinase K digested.
For mouse I use a BM8 antibody vendor BACHEM cat # T-2006. also formalin fixed paraffin embedded samples and trypsin or proteinase K digested.
For Rat I use a ED-1 or ED-2 antibody can't find the spec sheet so I can't help you any more then that. Have fun these cells look great stained especially the dendritic cells of the skin.

Hi netters,
Does anyone have a source for antibodies for macrophages in species OTHER
than human? Or does this even exist? I have tried Zymed and Dako without
luck. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
