Long Beach does have an airport. Three airlines service it:
WinAir, America West and American Airlines.

Dear Carol,
The Hotel Queen Mary Reservations phone numbers are 800-437-2934 or
562-432-6964
and their fax number is 562-437-4531.
I believe long Beach has an airport, and there is always LAX (ask the hotel
which airport is best and ask your travel agent or www.yahoo.com on airfare
pricing).
If you show up on friday the worst they can do is force you to sit through
the imaging session, then throw you overboard to the sharks.
