We use 0.1% DEPC (Di-Ethyl Pyro Carbonate) to rid Distilled water of 
ant ribnuclease, then autoclave the water to inactivate the DEPC.  We 
use that to wash slides, tubes and float out, as well as wiping the 
blade etc between cases.
