Hi Kim,
In response to your Mohs question, I have been doing Mohs for 10+ years. I work for Kaiser Permanente NW (Portland, Or) and we are currently staffed to do Mohs procedure 3 times/week.
On the average we do 3-4 patients per day.The average number of stages to clear a patient is 2-3 with 1 obviously being the least and as many as 7 stages being the most.
We keep a running tally on our bulletin board of various records, ie: which tech did the most stages (7), stayed the latest in the evening (8:30 pm), most specimens on a single stage (20), etc.
I would be happy to help you in any way I can. Feel free to e-mail me at Kaiser where I do Mohs on Tues and Thurs @
clarkdas@kpnwoa.mts.kpnw.org
or clarkda@ohsu.edu
Happy Moh-ing to you,
David Clark
