When I was working in a hospital we always used Harris hematoxylin for fixed
tissue staining as well as for frozens.  Harris is an alcoholic hematoxylin.

What kind of hematoxylene and eosin is good  for frozen section?
I just ordered aqua-Hematoxylene (Innovex) without thinking anything.

Aqua or alchohol?
