Dear all,
May I continue to speak from a position of Bias? I have a degree. There
seems to be a perception that academic qualifications mean that you only
know the theory. Now times have changed since I did my Histo Major but in
all our classes Prac work accounted for 60% of the mark (this remains the
same), & the pass mark was 60-65%+. To those people who are having
problems with graduates, are you going back to where they were taught &
telling these institutions. Modern education is supposed to be about
providing students with attributes that employers want (I don't like this
idea but I suppose somebody thinks its progress!).
Like all things don't just complain about a problem, be part of the solution.
Regards
Rob W.
