The Bone and Joint Center, Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit MI, has an
immediate opening for a Senior Research Assistant in our research programs
on the biomechanics of the normal and diseased musculoskeletal system.
Duties include general histotechnology (hard and soft tissue),
microradiography, microcomputed tomography, work with experimental animals
(various mammalian species), tissue acquisition at necropsy, assisting in
preparation and performance of mechanical testing of biological structures,
supervising, assisting, and teaching of residents, clinicians, and
students, and the maintainance of information base on existing and new
technologies for recommendation and potential application to the needs of
