If you are staining for copper in sections of a
Wilson= 's disease liver, try the dithiooxamide method. (This
reagent is a= lso called rubeanic acid.) It takes 30 minutes at room
temperature and= is slightly less sensitive than
p-dimethylaminobenzylidenerhodanine, = which takes overnight at
37C. For a comparison see Irons et al. 1977= Arch.
