Thank you to everyone who wrote with comments and clarification about
the eligibility for certification of a trainee in a veterinary
diagnostic lab. I had phoned the ASCP and asked this question and was
sent a quote from their website regarding eligibility; since it was
well-defined, I thought there would be no recourse.  Perhaps it's time
for a revision of the paragraph regarding eligibility on the ASCP
