[Histonet] Methacarn Solution

From:Mario Muscedere

Hi All,
I've heard a lot about the plusses of using methacarn for IHC, from
this board and others. However I tried twice to make up a solution of
methacarn (60% absolute MeOH / 30% chloroform / 10% glacial acetic
acid), but the result is a milky solution filled with small flecks of
what appear to be white precipitate. I'm assuming this isn't normal.
Has anyone had any experience with this sort of problem and know what
I'm doing wrong?
