still on histological use of extract of Hibiscus sabdariffa

From:Solomon Adebayo

fellow histoneters,
after careful perusal of your contributions to my
earlier query on this subject, i decided to bring to
your knowledge the result of an experiment i conducted
using the extract on lymph node and kidney biopsies.
The method is simple using (aq) solution of the
extract. staining was however done at 56 degree
Celcius for 1hr. The staining obtained was permanent
and similar to that obtained by silver methods. To
differentiate the nucleus from connective tissue
elements, I used iron hx formular to the stain the
nucleus which appears black. other elements appear
yellowish brown. Nuclei staining preceded staining in
extract.
Kindly verify this in your lab and let me know your
observations, comments and/ criticisms.
Thanks. Your contributions are priceless.
