Since I am
the best looking, I'll answer right away! :>)
We
purchased the CBG instrument last year. It is fully self-contained, and sits
right in the lab near the processors. We have no special ventilation for it. Recent
monitoring showed no problems.

Subject: xylene recyclers
Hello Histonetters:
I was recently asked a
question by our Facilities Management department about our xylene recycler.
They wanted to know what were the requirements for the room that the recycler
is in as far as fire safety is concerned. I thought I would ask the best
looking people on the Internet what they are doing in own laboratories.
In the meantime I will check in with the NFPA on this.
Can’t wait to hear from
you;
