I don't know that it's kicking you off the list.  Sometimes the listserver goes down and messages don't come through.  A good way to check is to check the archives ( http://www.histosearch.com/histonet.html) and click on the current message date range to see if any newer messages are posted there that you didn't receive.  If not, then the listserver is down.
 
That's my theory anyway...
