Andrew,
any good dab should work with any hrp detection system, I would try another
dab with that kit if you have one around, dab is matched with the hrp enzyme
not the animal.

I am trying to stain Rat MCL with the ABC staining kit.  My primary antibody
is collagen 1 and then I use the kit for the rest of the reagents.  standard
secondary and then so on.  My question is that when I get down to the
peroxidase step, the tissue does not change' color all that much.  When
viewed under the microscope its a grey color.  I talked to Santa Cruz and
they said that it could be that the DAB Chromagen in the kit is percipating
out.

If anyone' has stained using the ABC staining kit from SANTA CRUZ, and has
any suggestions for me let me know.
