We have been using the Microm for 5+ years. We have not had any major
problems. The biggest problem is nicks in the glass anti roll plate. Usually
it is after one of the pathologists has cut a frozen by their selves. This
does not happen to frequently.  We always have an extra roll plate on hand
for this situation. I must say we love our Microm.
