EM Staining cont...

From:sara goldston

Sorry, message was prematurely sent before completion.

As I was saying, the methelene UA and Sato's lead citrate are utilized in a Pelco Microwave. Until the last week, our microwave staining has been very good and problem free. I want to know if humidity plays a big part in microwave staining. Also, does black precipitate on the section always denote that the lead stain was poorly rinsed or has gone bad? Lastly, what can be done to combat/correct poor contrast. Please feel free to add additional comments that were not specifically addressed in this message. Thanks!
