Alizarin or xylenol?

From:Roger Brown

Hello HistoNet users,

I am seeking information on comparative advantages of alizarin
complexone vs. xylenol orange for fluorochrome labeling of bone in
rats. Could anyone comment on which of these two yields brighter
labeling and recommended doses? Incidentally, I am hoping to use one
of these two plus calcein for double fluorochrome labeling.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.
