Hi all,
We used to do Warthin-Starry's but have now switched to the Steiner-Steiner kit made by Sigma and the colour seems to be as good as the Warthin-Starry.
It's called 'Accustain Silver stain , modified Steiner-steiner. 
We use the microwave method, and it works well for us,
