RE: SV40 Help

From:"Morken, Tim"

Lee, We use SV40(pb416) from Oncogene Research in the US
(http://www.apoptosis.com/Products/ProductDetail_ONC.asp?catNO=DP02&CatID=34
). We use FFPE tissue, steam antigen retrieval for 20 minutes in citrate
buffer (BioGenex Citra) and then use an antibody dilution of 1:500. we
detect with the dako LSAB2 alk phos kit and fast red chromagen. As for
contols, we do have some, but we don't share them. Sorry!

Hi everyone,
Does anyone have any experience of working with the SV40
(pab101) antibody on FFPE SV40 infected tissue.I would particularly like to
know what method of antigen retrieval you used to get successful results and
where you were able to obtain a SV40 positive tissue block from. Thanks in
advance for your help
