Yes. I had previously written that it doesn't, but I did forget about this relatively recently described type of tumour.
Cursing myself, I did a little investigating and found that occasionally, other renal carcinomas may stain lightly and patchily, particularly on the luminal surfaces.
The chromotrope tumour has clear microvesicles of uncertain origin which appear to be the source of the staining, which seems to be at best, a blush, a property shared with myself:-)
