Soak them for a minute or so in 1% ammonia water after facing. Then chill block, and do not allow tissue to dry out while cooling.

Subject: Bloody specimens

Does anyone have any "tricks of the trade" when it comes to cutting good
sections from bloody specimens?

I would appreciate your suggestions.
