I found lots of information on workload and the pathology laboratory, but I am looking for statistics on clerical FTE's needed per # of pathology accessions?

Our clerical staff does the specimen log-in, (tissue, gyn/non-gyn cyto), transcription, report distribution etc. 

If some of you can tell me your annual # of gyn, # of non-gyn and # of tissue cases and total # of clerical FTE's, I would be most grateful.  I will summarize the data and comments I receive from everyone and post them here.
