Cassette labeling

From:Rebecca Barnhart

We are having a problem getting any writing to stay on our cassettes.
We have tried switching paraffins and changing from Americlear to
xylene. We have also tried superfrost, sharpie and triangle markers.
The triangle markers stay on through the processing but when we trim the
paraffin from the cassettes it is easy to take off the writing, plus
the marker is bold. We have tried cassette labelers and have had
success but getting the money is the trick to that. I think we are
close to getting the money approved for a cassette labeler but the
pathologist would rather spend the money on something else if we can
find a marker that will stay on. Any help is appreciated.
