Hello. I need some advice about cell staining on very old human brain
tissue. The brain was embedded in celloidin and the blocks and some cut
sections stored in 70% alcohol (about 40 years). I have not gotten good
staining with cresyl, Giemsa or netural red, using very standard
protocols. Does anyone know of a way to impove staining of old overfixed
brain?
