? about Gomori's stain for Pancreatic Islet Cells
Histonetters,
I'm staining some sections of cells grown on membranes to see alpha and
beta cells using Gomori's Method for Pancreatic Islet Cells, green AFIP
manual. The investigator has requested this particular stain and I have not
done this one before. My question is about mordanting in Bouins for 16 hrs.
The green AFIP manual doesn't specify temperature so I am assuming room
temp. Can this be shortened by heating the Bouins to 56 degrees like you do
for the Masson Trichrome?
Thanks!
