    An Epon substitute or "American" Araldite (Araldite 502:DDSA at 27:23). With Epon substitutes, at least the ones I have used, you can skip the 100% EtOH by going from 95% to a 95%-Epon mix. Epon does mix with ethanols, just more slowly than do the usual "clearing" agents. I have heard of going from 70% EtOH to Epon! I am told that Spurr is too highly crosslinked for good immuno.
