RE: blue haze artifact
We started getting a blue haze on our H&E's since our water dept. switched
to chloriamines in the tap water. We use Meyer's hematoxylin on the Leica
Auto stainer and have had to extend rinsing times.

Subject: blue haze artifact
Greetings Histonetters:
Has anyone ever experienced the "blue haze artifact"? I've heard that there
was some talk of this a while back. We seem to be experiencing it
occasionally in our lab. I haven't been able to find a reference for it
anywhere! Any thoughts? Ideas? Help?
Thanks in advance!
