reprocessing breast tissue
From: | r-meyer2@northwestern.edu |
We need to re-process breast tissue that dryed overnight before the processor
kicked in. We found a protocol in the AFIP that suggests soaking the tissue in
a formol-glycerol solution up to 8 hours to put some flexibility back into the
tissue (the tissue is hard as a rock when we tried to section it). My question
would be after the formol-glycerol solution do we want to process it on a
normal processing shedule or a shorter processing schedule? Any tips,
thoughts, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!
