Response from DAKO regarding MW fixation:

Dear Patsy,

I apologize for taking some time to get back to you on this matter.  We
do
not recommend the use of microwaves in the fixation process nor have we
tested HercepTest on specimens fixed in this manner.  We recommend
"routine
processing" (per spec sheet) for all HercepTest specimens and the use of

microwaves does not fit these guidelines.
