frozens of silicone disc with cells

From:Instrumedics

Steve is having difficulty in cutting a silicone disc in which cells are
grown

We have been successful using Instrumedics' CryoJane Tape-Transfer system
in preparing frozen sections of cells grown on all sorts of matrices. A tape
window adhered to the blockface supports and captures the section as it is
cut. The section is then transferred to an adhesive-coated slide. After
polymerizing the adhesive into a plastic with an 8 millisecond flash, the
tape is peeled away and the section in bonded to the plastic layer
Steve would you like to try the first step, cutting the section onto the
tape window? We would be pleased to send you tapes for that trial. The
transfer-to-the-slide step requires the CryoJane system.
