Re: H&E survey slides

From:Vinnie Della Speranza

This will not be an immediate solution to your request but I thought it might interest you to know that the National Society for Histotechnology is partnering with the College of American Pathologists to conduct such a program which will begin in January 2003.

The program, called Histo-QIP (Histology Quality Improvement Program) will enable laboratories like yours to have their stains evaluted and benchmarked against those produced in other laboratories. In addition to an evaluation of your slides, subscribers will also receive educational material with each slide submission that may be useful toward a lab's continuing education program to guide subscribers toward improving the over all quality of their slides and stains.

Those who are interested will be able to subscribe later this autumn. Further details about this new program will be shared here and in the Journal of Histotechnology and CAP Today. stay tuned.

I am looking for a place to send some of our H&Es and a few special stains to be critiqued.  Anybody have any suggestions?
Thanks,
