Christl,

Basically, Attwood's stain consists of an Alcian green(you can substitute
Alcian Blue 8GX) pH 2.5 procedure, for acid polysaccharides, followed by a
Lendrum's Phloxine Tartrazine procedure.

You will find both procedures in either Culling or Bancroft.
